Sharing and passing on are values dear to the heart of the Coussau family. Our Chef invites enthusiasts and curious amateurs to enjoy an immersive experience based on Landes region gastronomy.

Jean and Clémentine Coussau are keen to share their ideas and techniques, and regularly organise fun and friendly cooking classes on Saturdays. Get up close and personal to the kitchens of a gourmet restaurant, and for a few hours, don your apron and let our Chef guide you.

Respect for produce, its freshness and seasonality are of course fundamental elements in the preparation of a menu. These courses are suitable for all levels

Course schedule

Jean Coussau and his niece Clémentine Coussau offer a half-day programme of cookery lessons, starting at 9am. You will prepare a complete menu comprising a starter, a fish or meat dish and a dessert, which you will enjoy at lunchtime in the gourmet restaurant with the matching wines.

Groups of 8 people maximum

Price: 240 euros per person (course and lunch) / 130 euros for an accompanying person not taking part in the course.

You can also work with our Pastry Chef, Clément MOLLAR, for 2h30 to create a dessert for 4 people that you can take home with you at the end of the workshop.
Our chef will give you all the tips you need to make: crème pâtissière, pâte brisée, assembling a entremet or working with chocolate, depending on the theme of the workshop.

Internship package

Enjoy an immersive experience at the Relais de la Poste estate, with a visit, dinner, overnight stay in a hotel and cookery class. Reception from 3pm.

Discovery of the "La Petite Lagune" experimental micro vineyard

Night at the hotel and buffet breakfast

The following morning at 9 am: preparation of a full menu with starters, fish, meat and desserts.
At 12 noon, tasting in the gourmet restaurant of the dishes prepared in the morning with matching wines.

Price for 1 person: €504 (all inclusive, accommodation in a standard single room).
Price for 2 people: €788 (all inclusive, based on standard double room).
